The Alex Jr. My Busy Town Activity Center has 5 sides of fun for your baby from curvy bead mazes, peek-a-boo-doors, spin and match animals, “turn and learn” ABC, 123 and first word tiles and racing vehicle rollers.

Rain received his from his grandmother for Christmas. I won’t lie I had high hopes for this when I knew he was going to get it. Call it intuition – I was pretty sure it would be a hit.

Our boy has never been a toy baby (are any of them?) so I can’t really say exactly why I thought he would like this one. He took to it immediately and 5 months later is still enjoying it on a daily basis, which is way more than I had hoped for. He was 10 months old when he first got it and is currently 14.5 months. He started with a fascination for opening and closing the doors, then moved on to the racing vehicles and since standing the wire maze on the top has been his favourite. I love watching him shimmy around the sides, but what I love most about this toy is that it holds his attention for more than a second. Seriously, sometimes he’ll play with this thing for 30 minutes straight which absolutely glorious.

The construction of the cube itself is super solid and he has always been able to pull himself up without any tipping issues. He loves the brightly painted scenes and has started to add his own cars to the top.

This cube has 5 sides of fun for your baby from curvy bead mazes, peek-a-boo-doors, spin and match animals, “turn and learn” ABC, 123 and first word tiles and racing vehicle rollers.
